Tesla to build first V4 supercharger station in Arizona

Tesla will build the first V4 supercharger station in Arizona, USA. It is reported that the charging power of the Tesla V4 supercharging station is 250 kilowatts, and the peak charging power is expected to reach 300-350 kilowatts.

If Tesla can make the V4 supercharging station provide a stable and fast charging experience for non-Tesla cars, it will be expected to further promote electric vehicles to replace traditional fuel vehicles.

Net exposure information shows that compared with the V3 charging pile, the V4 charging pile is higher and the cable is longer. In Tesla’s most recent earnings call, Tesla said it is actively upgrading its fat-charging technology, with the aim of allowing the peak charging power of charging piles to reach 300-350 kilowatts.

At present, Tesla has built and opened more than 35,000 super charging piles worldwide. According to previous news, Tesla has already opened its supercharging piles in some European countries, including the Netherlands, Norway, France, etc., and the number of European countries that will open supercharging in the near future has now increased to 13.

On September 9, Tesla officially announced that Tesla’s 9,000th super-charging pile in mainland China has officially landed. The number of super-charging stations exceeds 1,300, with more than 700 destination charging stations and more than 1,800 destination charging piles. Covering more than 380 cities and regions in China.
