Recently, according to the announcement of SVOLT, the company will build its second overseas factory in the German state of Brandenburg for the European market, mainly engaged in the production of battery cells. SVOLT has previously built its first overseas factory in Saarland, Germany, which mainly produces battery packs.
The data shows that in the first eight months of this year, the installed capacity of SVOLT power batteries was 3.86GWh, ranking sixth among domestic power battery companies.
According to SVOLT’s plan, the batteries produced at the Brandenburg plant will be processed and mounted on vehicles at the Saarland plant. The company said that the location advantage of the new plant will help SVOLT serve customer projects and achieve its capacity expansion goals in Europe more quickly.
