After more than three months of site selection, technical exchanges and negotiations, this new motor factory finally chose to settle in Yizheng, Jiangsu. With the close cooperation between SMTJ and Siemens Real Estate Group (SRE), the important milestone of the project signing ceremony was successfully completed, thus kicking off the construction of the new factory.
Due to the continued development and optimization adjustments of the motion control business, the newly established Siemens Mechatronics Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. (SMTJ) will focus on the production of servo motors and spindle motors. Upon completion, it will have an annual production capacity of 800,000 motors.
The new factory adheres to Siemens’ concept of sustainable development and meets the certification requirements of LEED GOLD. It implements a number of energy-saving and carbon-reducing measures, such as photovoltaic systems, fresh air exhaust heat recovery, intelligent lighting systems, etc. After completion, carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 27%. %, energy consumption will be saved by about 20%.
