Following the launch of the right-hand drive version of Neta V in Thailand, Nepal and other overseas markets, recently, the international version of Neta U landed in Southeast Asia for the first time and was listed in Laos. Neta Auto announced the establishment of a strategic partnership with Keo Group, a well-known dealer in Laos.
In recent years, the Lao government has actively promoted the development of the new energy vehicle market, promoted the import of electric vehicles in Laos through various policies such as tax reduction and exemption, improved electric vehicle charging equipment, and increased the ownership of electric vehicles in the country. The Lao government’s goal is to increase the use of pure electric vehicles to more than 30 percent by 2030. Meanwhile, Laos is taking key steps to harness its hydropower potential and strive to become the “battery of Southeast Asia.” The country’s hydropower potential is about 26GW, which is good for the development of electric vehicles. Laos may become another blue ocean for China’s smart electric vehicle exports.
Neta Auto will further develop the Southeast Asian market. By the end of August, Neta Auto’s overseas orders have exceeded 5,000 units, and the number of channels has grown to nearly 30. The launch of the international version of Neta U in the Laos market will further accelerate the development of Neta in the Southeast Asian market and enhance its global influence.
