Recently, the Charging Alliance released the latest charging pile data. According to data, in August, my country’s public charging piles increased by 48,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 64.8%. From January to August this year, the increase in charging infrastructure was 1.698 million units, and the increase in public charging piles increased by 232.9% year-on-year. The increment of private charging piles continued to rise, up 540.5% year-on-year.
As of August this year, the cumulative number of charging infrastructure nationwide was 4.315 million units, an increase of 105.0% year-on-year. The number of DC charging piles has reached 702,000, the number of AC charging piles has reached 921,000, and the number of AC-DC integrated charging piles has reached 224. According to the data, as of now, 13,374 charging piles have been built in 3,102 of the 6,618 expressway service areas across the country.
At present, WeChat Pay has cooperated with many new energy vehicle brands and charging pile enterprises to further upgrade the “charge first and pay later”, and has also cooperated with new energy brands such as Xiaopeng Motors and Ideal Auto , as well as charging stations such as Tedian , Xingxing , and Kaimeisi. Pile enterprises have established cooperation, covering more than 1.2 million public charging piles in more than 300 cities across the country.
