It is learned from the national professional authority that the GB18613-2020 standard will soon meet with motor manufacturers and will be officially implemented in June 2021. The new requirements of the new standard once again reflect the national control requirements for motor efficiency indicators, and the coverage of motor power and number of poles is also expanding.
Since the implementation of the GB18613 standard in 2002, it has undergone three revisions in 2006, 2012 and 2020. In the revisions of 2006 and 2012, only the energy efficiency limit of the motor was increased. When it was revised in 2020, the energy efficiency limit was increased. At the same time, on the basis of the original 2P, 4P, and 6P pole motors, the energy efficiency control requirements of 8P motors have been added. The energy efficiency level 1 of the 2020 version of the standard has reached the highest level (IE5) of the IEC motor energy efficiency standard .
The following are the motor energy efficiency control requirements and the corresponding situation with the IEC standard in the previous standard revision process. In the 2002 version of the standard, energy-saving evaluation provisions were made on motor efficiency, stray loss performance indicators and corresponding test methods; in the later standard revision process, the minimum limit value of motor energy efficiency was specified. Energy-efficient motors are defined as energy-saving products, and through some oriented policy encouragement, motor producers and consumers are guided to eliminate high-energy-consuming motors, and vigorously promote energy-saving and high-efficiency motors.
In the IEC energy efficiency standard, the motor energy efficiency is divided into 5 grades IE1-IE5. The larger the number in the code, the higher the corresponding motor efficiency, that is, the IE1 motor has the lowest efficiency, and the IE5 motor has the highest efficiency; while in our national standard, the The motor energy efficiency rating is divided into 3 levels, the smaller the number, the higher the energy efficiency, that is, the energy efficiency of level 1 is the highest, and the energy efficiency of level 3 is the lowest.
Under the guidance of national policies, more motor manufacturers, especially those with strength in motor technology control and improvement, through the improvement of design technology, process technology, and the performance of production and manufacturing equipment, have achieved great success in the manufacture of high-efficiency motors. Outstanding achievements in all aspects, especially the technological breakthroughs, have made a breakthrough in the material cost control of high-efficiency ordinary series motors, and made positive efforts for the promotion of high-efficiency motors in the country.
In recent years, the supporting manufacturers of motor equipment and materials have put forward many constructive opinions on the quality problems in the process of motor production, processing and use, especially some frequent bottleneck problems, and have taken active measures to improve the quality of materials. Measures; and the customers who use the motor can objectively provide the actual operating conditions to the motor manufacturer, making the motor a great step forward from stand-alone energy saving to system energy saving.
