14 million motors! The new project of this motor “giant” has been put into trial operation!

Currently, Nidec Global Electrical Industrial Park has entered the trial operation stage and is expected to be officially put into operation in March next year. After reaching full capacity, it will be able to produce 14 million motors and 16 million controllers annually, creating an internationally leading DC motor R&D, production and manufacturing base.

Walking into the Nidec Global Electrical Industrial Park, a joint factory building more than ten meters high stands tall in the huge factory area. In the production workshop, engineers cooperate with each other to install and debug the equipment in full swing. “At present, we have started the equipment relocation work of the two business segments of motor R&D and production and motor and compressor controller R&D and production. The installation and debugging of the production line has been completed by 40%, and some production lines have been put into trial operation.” The relevant person in charge of the Nidec Global Electrical Industrial Park introduced that after the project is put into production, it will be equipped with automatic injection molding, intelligent manufacturing, automated warehousing and other full industrial chains, focusing on the development and production of high-tech, energy-efficient motors, drivers, controllers, automatic drive systems and other industrial high-end technical equipment, and provide a full range of product matching for leading home appliance companies such as Haier, Hisense, and Siemens.

Nidec Global Electrical Industrial Park is a key project of Shandong Province, Qingdao City and Jiaozhou City. It is jointly invested and constructed by Nidec Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, and SCO Holding Group. It is also a key project of Nidec Group’s capital increase in the SCO Demonstration Zone. The total construction area of the industrial park is 108,200 square meters, including production workshops, comprehensive buildings, and technical centers. “Relying on the good business environment and open advantages of the SCO Demonstration Zone, we will efficiently integrate the group’s R&D strength and production capacity, and effectively promote R&D aggregation, capacity improvement, and equipment renewal.
